PassMath Africa users can request deletion of their account and personal data at any time by following these steps:
What gets deleted: Your email address and subscription record stored in our database.
What is retained: Anonymous usage analytics (Google Analytics) cannot be tied back to you and are not deleted individually, as they contain no personal identifiers. Payment records may be retained by Paystack per their own policy for legal/tax compliance.
Locally stored data (solved questions, history) can be cleared instantly by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app — no request needed.
PassMath Africa ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app at passmath.africa.
We collect the following information:
Email address — collected when you subscribe to a paid plan. Used to manage your subscription and send renewal reminders.
Payment information — payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details. Paystack's privacy policy applies to payment data.
Usage data — we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how students use the app including page views, topics solved, and general location (country level). No personal information is collected by Google Analytics.
Math questions — questions you type or photos you upload are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate solutions. These are not stored permanently by PassMath.
We use your information to provide and improve the PassMath service, manage your subscription, send important account notifications, and improve the app experience.
Subscription data is stored securely in Supabase (EU Ireland region). Your solved questions are stored locally on your device only and are not sent to our servers.
PassMath uses the following third-party services:
Anthropic Claude AI — processes your math questions to generate solutions. See anthropic.com/privacy
Paystack — processes payments securely. See paystack.com/privacy
Google Analytics — anonymous usage tracking. See policies.google.com/privacy
Supabase — subscription database. See supabase.com/privacy
PassMath is designed for students including those under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for the service. We do not share student data with third parties for advertising purposes.
